Dinner 2, Monday
After breakfast, cruise to Argens-Minervois. After lunch, take an excursion to Minerve, a fortified medieval village and listed as one of the most beautiful villages of France. It boasts a 12th century Cathar fort surrounded by deep limestone gorges. Its hilltop location affords spectacular views.

On the way back to the barge, visit Domaine Massamier La Mignarde for wine tasting. Dinner on board.

Day 3, Tuesday
In the morning, cruise through a series of locks and the little port of Homps to dock at La Redorte. You have plenty of opportunity to explore the Canal du Midi towpath on foot or bicycle.

After lunch on board, visit a local goats’ cheese farm at Combebelle to meet the cheese-makers and sample their products. Continue to “L’Oulibo”, a local olive oil press where we will sample the local Lucques olives.

Return to the hotel barge, to relax with an aperitif in the shade of the plane trees. Dinner on board.

Day 4, Wednesday
After breakfast, head to Narbonne, a Roman Mediterranean capital where the Visigoth monarchs lived before. Visit the Archbishop’s Palace, Roman Horreum and the Les Halles de Bornnes, an indoor market. Enjoy lunch in restaurant near Les Halles. Return to the barge, and continue your cruise to Marseillette. Dinner on board.
