  • Wild mushroom and rabbit Wellington, honey-glazed vegetables with a honey and rabbit jus; pan-fried Cod served with creamed potatoes, salicornia, vine tomatoes and a cucumber gazpacho; chocolate and lime fondant, candied lime zest, white
  • chocolate crème Anglaise, presented in a sugar nest
  • Lobster tortellini served with a pea purée and a fresh tomato consommé; lamb Saddle with a mint gel, served on a bed of beetroot and sweet-potato mash and seasonal vegetables; brioche Pain Perdu topped with toasted pistachios,
  • served with rhubarb and a honey marscapone
  • Boudin noir served with caramelised apple, pancetta crisp and blackberry balsamic glaze;beetroot-cured Salmon with a pea, mint and samphire purée, on a ying-yang risotto alongside roasted vine tomatoes and a beurre-blanc sauce; chocolate cup filled with a caramel cappuccino espuma cream and pink peppercorn shortbread; chestnut velouté with a salted caramel sauce, garlic flowers and a parmesan crisp; Guinea-fowl served with black pudding, Lyonnaise potatoes, spring vegetables and a whisky sauce; Pears poached in red wine, cinnamon and thyme, served with a raspberry, mint crème fraiche and a mulled-wine syrup

Itinerary 

Day 1, Sunday
Rendezvous in Paris at a location of your choice. Captain Francisco welcomes you on board the Luciole, with Champagne reception and canapés.

Day 2, Monday
Morning cruise to Vincelles and visit to the impressive Crément de Bourgogne wine caves at Bailly. Afternoon tasting in Chablis, famed for chardonnay wines, and the prestigious ‘Grand Cru Hill’.

Day 3, Tuesday
Breakfast cruise to Accolay before a departure to Beaune. The Pinot Noir grape is grown in this famous wine region of Haute Côte de Beaune. We visit the Marché aux Vins and then lunch in the esteemed town, before a drive home through the vineyards.

Day 4, Wednesday
Visit to delightful Irancy, where Pinot Noir and César grapes are blended for the town’s Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOL) red wine. Wine tasting in St Bris, of the Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris grape varieties. The cruise in the afternoon is to Mailly-le-Château.

Day 5, Thursday
Early morning cruise to Lucy-sur-Yonne, before departure to Sancerre, here enjoy lunch and wine tasting in the hilltop town, followed by a visit to Pouilly-Fumé, close to the banks of the River Loire.

Day 6, Friday
Morning cruise to Clamecy. Afternoon visit to an organic wine producer, close to the magnificent hill top town of Vézelay with the imposing World Heritage Site basilica. In the evening the farewell ‘Captain’s Dinner’.

Day 7, Saturday
Morning departure, arriving in Paris at lunchtime.

An initial deposit of 30% of the total cruise fare for cabin or charter is payable at the time of booking. The balance must be paid within 100 days as per our terms and conditions and as specified in our confirmation invoice, which will be despatched when the booking form has been processed.
